Smart Start Bidders Conference 2017-2018

The Rockingham County Partnership for Children, the local administrator of Smart Start funds, is dedicated to helping children enter school healthy and ready to succeed.  With Smart Start funds the Partnership supports activities for children ages prenatal through five years and their families.  The Partnership is currently requesting applications for activities that address:



  • child care quality
  • child care affordability and accessibility
  • early intervention
  • family support
  • health care needs



Organizations or agencies interested in applying for Smart Start funding must attend a MANDATORY Bidders Conference on Wednesday, January 11th at 9:00 am at the Rockingham County Partnership for Children office in the Gwyn & Balsley Meeting Room.  All required information will be distributed at the Bidders Conference.  Pending the availability of funds activities will be funded from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018.
